Three decades of sustainable production
Started in 1995 with a single press line, EEF has walked a long way to expand its capabilities. Presently, the manufacturing house produces around 18,000 tonnes of aluminium annually. So far, they have manufactured over 400,000 tonnes of high-end aluminium products, which are used in construction and industrial projects. EEF’s consistency in aluminium production has made it a strong contributor to the UAE’s industrial ambitions.
Blending innovation with environmental responsibility
As automation reshapes manufacturing globally, EEF’s recent strategy is highly focused on integrating the same into its production process. As a result, the company is making investments in precision technology and digital systems that not only enhance production quality but also reduce wastage.
The company has developed and implemented several pioneering solutions, for example, a thermal break system for energy-efficient construction, a Green Curtain Wall system for reduced material waste and ready aluminium profiles for solar installations.
EEF’s facility in Sharjah is equipped with top-notch recycling and water treatment units, which facilitate a minimal environmental footprint. Simultaneously, the unit also runs regular carbon monitoring to align with the UAE’s environmental objectives.
These innovations have strengthened EEF’s presence in both domestic and international projects.
Delivering excellence across global projects
EEF’s aluminium products are preferred for high-end buildings, for example, The Torch Tower and The Gate Tower in Dubai. Beyond the UAE, the company’s profiles have been incorporated into international projects, including London’s 150 Aldersgate Tower and the MamiWata Hotel in Africa.
Mohammed Saeed Al Raqbani, General Manager of Dubai Investments Industries and Masharie, noted that the company’s journey reflects the UAE’s wider ambitions in advanced manufacturing. He stated, “Emirates Extrusion Factory exemplifies the UAE’s ambition to be a global leader in advanced manufacturing and sustainable construction. Over the past 30 years, the company has evolved from a single-press operation into an international benchmark for innovation, operational excellence and environmentally responsible aluminium solutions. By continuously refining operations to meet market demands, expanding production capacity, and delivering high-quality products across 20 countries, EEF has reinforced its reputation as a trusted industry partner.”
