Critical Metals Corp. has appointed Thomas “TYT” Mogensen as Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary, Tanbreez Mining A/S.
{alcircleadd}Mogensen has over 20 years of experience in finance, infrastructure, and natural resources, with a focus on Greenland and the Nordic region. He has worked on business development, financial restructuring, and large-scale project execution.

He most recently served as Managing Director of Nalik Ventures A/S, a business development company owned by the Government of Greenland. During his tenure, the company moved from a DKK 88 million (USD 13.8 million) loss to a DKK 28 million (USD 4.4 million) profit. He also led a restructuring process, including a merger with two subsidiaries.
Earlier, Mogensen worked as a consultant advising companies and local authorities on financial management and strategy. He held senior roles at BankNordic and NIRAS Greenland, where he oversaw business expansion and project delivery. At NIRAS Greenland, he helped increase turnover significantly.

He has also worked on industrial projects in Greenland, including involvement in an aluminium smelter initiative in Maniitsoq, and held positions at Greenland Development A/S and Royal Arctic Line A/S.
The appointment comes as Tanbreez advances its rare earth project in southern Greenland. The project is considered one of the larger rare earth deposits globally and has access to shipping routes through nearby fjords.
