China’s SMM A00 aluminium price surges by RMB90/t to RMB18,690/t; High purity aluminium and alloy prices mark uniform hike of RMB100/t
On August 22, the Shanghai Metals Market showed escalating prices, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price closing at RMB 18,690 per tonne, with an influx of RMB 90 per tonne. The average aluminium ingot prices have ranged between RMB 18,670 per tonne and RMB 18,710 per tonne.
The eight central provinces in China have all witnessed heightening aluminium prices, with it increasing the most in Wuxi and Tianjin by RMB 100 per tonne, to rest at RMB 18,700 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne, respectively. Next to record a measurable hike are Chongqing and Hangzhou, where the A00 aluminium ingot price has gone up the graph by RMB 90 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,670 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. In Shenyang, there was a noticeable surge of RMB 80 per tonne, with the price locked at RMB 18,620 per tonne. The aluminium ingot price in Gongyi has gained RMB 70 per tonne to officially close at RMB 18,610 per tonne, while the aluminium price in Foshan has jumped by RMB 60 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,600 per tonne. Lastly, in Tianjin, there has been a rise of RMB 40 per tonne, where the aluminium price came to stand at RMB 18,690 per tonne.
SMM A00 aluminium ingot price historical data shows the price of low-carbon aluminium in China has earned RMB 4 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,302 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium price (99.99%) and the high-purity aluminium price (99.996%) have strolled up the SMM live price graph by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne, respectively.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356), the price of aluminium alloy (A360) and the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) have all soared by RMB 100 per tonne to officially sit at RMB 19,300 per tonne, RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne, respectively.
China’s aluminium powder price has added RMB 0.10 per kg to close at RMB 20.60 per kg, with average prices hovering between RMB 20.50 per kg and RMB 20.70 per kg.
