
According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China declined by 12,800 tonnes from a week ago to 181,000 tonnes as of Thursday April 8. Aluminium billet outbound quantity decreased by 9,200 tonnes on the week to 56,800 tonnes last week. The inventories are likely to reduce slightly next week.

{alcircleadd}Inventories of aluminium billets in Foshan and Wuxi fell sharply by 7,100 tonnes and 4,100 tonnes. The stocks came in at 94,700 tonnes and 45,600 tonnes on Thursday, 08 April 2021, from 101,800 tonnes and 49,700 tonnes on April 1. Huzhou inventories remained unchanged at 11,000 tonnes.
The aluminium billets inventories in Changzhou and Nanchang reduced by 200 tonnes and 1,400 tonnes from last week to stand at 18,400 tonnes and 11,300 tonnes as of Thursday, 08 April 2021.
