
According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China increased by 1,400 tonnes from previous week to stand at 111,200 tonnes as of Thursday, 1 July 2021.
Aluminium billet outbound volume rose by 12,800 tonnes to 51,100 tonnes last week, an increase of 33.5%. The inventories are expected to drop next week, and the inventories may increase.

Foshan saw the largest increase volume by 4,200 tonnes, standing at 53,900 tonnes on Thursday, 1 July 2021. Inventories of aluminium billets in Wuxi and Changzhou rose by 2,560 tonnes and 2,300 tonnes from last week to stand at 12,690 tonnes and 10,500 tonnes on Thursday, 1 July 2021.
The aluminium billets inventories increased in Huzhou and Nanchang. The stocks were up by 3,000 tonnes to 19,000 tonnes on Thursday, 1 July 2021, standing at 11,000 tonnes and 23,150 tonnes.
