A00 aluminium ingot price in China has soared by RMB 420 per tonne to close the week at RMB 23,650 per tonne on October 15, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 23,630 per tonne and RMB 23,670 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 30-70 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}In Wuxi, primary aluminium ingot price has grown the highest by RMB 515 per tonne to stand at RMB 23,765 per tonne, followed by the hike of RMB 490 per tonne in Hangzhou to also close at RMB 23,765 per tonne. In Shenyang and Chongqing, A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 480 per tonne and RMB 475 per tonne to peg at RMB 23,730 per tonne and RMB 23,715 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also soared by RMB 400 per tonne to stand at RMB 27,750 per tonne on Friday, October 15, learned SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 27,700 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have gained RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 24,450 per tonne and RMB 25,650 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, the average alumina spot price has jumped by RMB 94 per tonne to exceed RMB 4,000 per tonne. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, alumina price has come in at RMB 4,073 per tonne on Friday, October 15.
In Shandong, Henan, and Shanxi, alumina price has increased by RMB 75 per tonne, while the price in Guizhou and Guangxi has remained restrained at RMB 3,925 per tonne and RMB 3,825 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium fluoride price has climbed by RMB 500 per tonne to touch RMB 10,000 per tonne on October 15. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 9,500 per tonne and RMB 10,500 per tonne.
