
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has further decreased by RMB 30 per tonne on Tuesday, August 3, to stand below RMB 19,800 per tonne. Data shows the price has come in at RMB 19,790 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 19,770 per tonne and RMB 19,810 per tonne. The spot contract is estimated to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

The decline in primary aluminium ingot price has touched upon all the major Chinese cities barring Gongyi, where the price has remained restrained at RMB 19,700 per tonne. Wuxi has seen the sharpest fall of RMB 60 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,770 per tonne, followed by the decline of RMB 55 per tonne in Hangzhou to RMB 19,780 per tonne. In Foshan, Shenyang, Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 20 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing has inched down by RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 19,815 per tonne.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, prebaked anode price in Central China has grown by RMB 40 per tonne to settle at RMB 4,565 per tonne on August 3. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 4,420 per tonne and RMB 4,710 per tonne.

In Southwest and Northwest China, the price has gained RMB 42.50 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 4,740 per tonne and RMB 4,865 per tonne, respectively.
Backed on the decline in A00 aluminium ingot price, aluminium alloy (A356) price has decreased by RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,400 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, remained restrained at RMB 19,200 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne, respectively.
