China’s A00 aluminium ingot price descends to RMB19,420/t; Low carbon aluminium price falls by RMB36/t
On Friday, September 8, the A00 aluminium ingot price in China dipped by RMB 50 per tonne to a halt at RMB 19,420 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 19,440 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0 to RMB 40 per tonne.
On the same day, the price in Wuxi descended by RMB 100 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,400 per tonne. As per the data, in Gongyi, the price has dropped by RMB 60 per tonne to reach RMB 19,320 per tonne. The Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data reveals that the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Foshan, Hangzhou, Tianjin and Linyi have slumped by RMB 50 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,200 per tonne, RMB 19,420 per tonne, 19,370 per tonne and RMB 19,420 per tonne. The prices in Shenyang and Chongqing have declined by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,360 per tonne and RMB 19,330 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have remained restrained at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne. The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has fallen by RMB 36 per tonne to RMB 19,941 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has slipped by RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 10,050 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has shown no change to settle at RMB 21.3 per kg.
