Average alumina spot price in China remains unchanged at RMB 2,818/t; A00 aluminium ingot price ascends by RMB 440/t
The average alumina spot price in China has remained unchanged since December 31st. On Thursday, January 6, the price for the same has been recorded at RMB 2,818 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.
The price has remained the same in Henan and Shanxi for the same day, at RMB 2,835 a tonne, respectively. On the other hand, prices in Shandong and Guizhou has remained stable, at RMB 2,860 per tonne and RMB 2,760 per tonne, respectively. The average alumina spot price has stayed steady in other provinces like as Guangxi, Lianyungang, and Bayuquan. In Guangxi, the price is RMB 2,700, in Lianyungang, RMB 2,875 and in Bayuquan, RMB 2,925.
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has escalated by RMB 440 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,740 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB 20,720 per tonne and RMB 20,760 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded a premium price of RMB 20-60 per tonne.
In Chongqing and Shenyang, the A00 aluminium ingot price has surged by RMB 440 per tonne to close at RMB 20,760 per tonne and RMB 20,740 per tonne, for the same day. On the other hand in Tianjin and Linyi, the price has shot up by RMB 420 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,740 per tonne and RMB 20,840 per tonne. In provinces like Gongyi and Foshan, the price has surged by RMB 410 per tonne and RMB 400 per tonne, to register at RMB 20,630 per tonne and RMB 20,690 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Wuxi and Hangzhou has ascended by RMB 425 per tonne and RMB 455 per tonne, to clock at RMB 20,740 per tonne and RMB 20,790 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has recorded an increase of RMB 150 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,600 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 20,500 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also gone up by RMB 400 per tonne to close at RMB 22,650 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to hover between RMB 22,600 per tonne and RMB 22,700 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A380) price has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,800 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne.
