Average alumina spot price in China grows by RMB 12/t to RMB 3,196/t; A00 aluminium ingot price surges by RMB 220/t
On Tuesday, February 8, average alumina spot price in China has hiked by RMB 12 per tonne to close at RMB 3,196 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. For the same day in Shandong, the price has moved up by RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,210 per tonne.
In Henan and Shanxi, the price has surged by RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 3,220 per tonne and RMB 3,205 per tonne. According to the SMM data, the price in Guizhou and Guangxi has increased by RMB 20 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne, to peg at RMB 3,090 per tonne and RMB 3,110 per tonne. Only in Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has remained restrained to register at RMB 3,025 per tonne and RMB 3,100 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has inched up by US$4 to close at US$382 per tonne, for the same day.
As per the Shanghai Metals Market, the A00 aluminium ingot price has soared up by RMB 220 per tonne to settle at RMB 22,490 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 22,470 per tonne and RMB 22,510 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.
The price in Wuxi and Hangzhou has escalated by RMB 215 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,485 per tonne and RMB 22,490 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has also ascended by RMB 210 per tonne to register at RMB 22,440 per tonne, respectively. In Chongqing, the price has increased by RMB 250 per tonne to record at RMB 22,530 per tonne. In Gongyi and Foshan, the price has gone up by RMB 210 per tonne and RMB 270 per tonne to clock at RMB 22,280 per tonne and RMB 22,560 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has grown by RMB 230 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,550 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has increased by RMB 250 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,600 tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 21,700 per tonne.
On the other hand, (A356) price has ascended by RMB 200 per tonne to settle at RMB 24,000 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to hover between RMB 23,950 per tonne and RMB 24,050 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A380) price has escalated by RMB 250 per tonne to clock at RMB 22,800 per tonne. The average prices are expected to stand between RMB 22,700 per tonne and RMB 22,900 per tonne.
