Aluminium prices up 0.44% on rising demand

Besides, increased demand at domestic spot markets also influenced prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the May tarde rose by 45 paise, or 0.44%, to INR 102.45 per kilogram in 544 lots.
Similarly, the June contract traded higher by 35 paise, or 0.34%, to INR 103.65 per kilogram in 215 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in aluminium prices at futures trade was mostly attributed to a firming trend in metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME) and rising demand at spot markets here.
Meanwhile, at the LME aluminium gained 0.3% to $1,858.50 per tonne.
