Aluminium fabricators in Ghaziabad India ready to face the changing market

But aluminium fabricators now face stiff competition from Unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) - a new raw material, which is being preferred over aluminium. This has forced aluminium fabricators to innovate to adapt to the changing needs of the market.
Satish Kumar of Indirapuram-based Shubham Aluminium informed that the market has been changing over the years, "Earlier it was wood that was used. It was replaced by mild steel and then by aluminium and now uPVC is being preferred."
Aluminium fabricators of Ghaziabad are trying to adapt and explore other horizons for fabrication work. Neeraj Singhal, managing director of Kalco-ALU systems, a Ghaziabad based industry said, "Clients often compare aluminium and uPVC. The clients are going for uPVC because of the better looks as compared to aluminium.”
As per Aqeel Ahmad, a Vaishali-based aluminium fabricator the fabrication industry has grown to up to 25 percent in the past five years but uPVC might take over the market soon. "Aluminium fabrications took over wood and iron because they did not need polishing or oiling. But they tend to loosen over a period of time unlike uPVC, which also has a better finish. Naturally uPVC might take over the market soon. Even we have started to work with uPVC," said Ahmad.
