EDITED BY : DEBANJALI SENGUPTA 1MINS READ

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, aluminium billet inventories in China increased by 7,400 tonnes week-on-week across five major consumption areas. Thus, the inventories stood at 184,400 tonnes on Thursday, October 14.

Stock gains in Foshan and Nanchang primarily contributed to the increase in aluminium billet inventories this week. The purchase trend was largely on rigid demand as the downstream market was mostly following wait-and-see.
