
Aluminium billet inventories in China have dropped by 3,500 tonnes week-on-week across the five major consumption areas to come in at 97,300 tonnes on Thursday, June 24. Last week on June 17, aluminium billet inventories stood at 100,700 tonnes, registering a week-on-week increase of 12,400 tonnes.

In Wuxi and Huzhou, aluminium billet inventories have decreased by 2,010 tonnes and 2,000 tonnes to come in at 10,120 tonnes and 8,000 tonnes, respectively, while the inventories in Nanchang have slipped by 1,750 tonnes to settle at 21,250 tonnes.
Meanwhile, in Foshan and Changzhou, aluminium billet inventories have grown by 1,900 tonnes and 400 tonnes, respectively, to come in at 49,700 tonnes and 8,200 tonnes.
