
According to Shanghai Metals Market, stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China declined this week due to lower arrivals at warehouses. The inventories dropped by 12,500 tonnes from a week ago to 75,400 tonnes as of Thursday November 19.

Inventories in Foshan registered a decline of 8,200 tonnes from last week. The stock stood at 22,200 tonnes on Thursday, 19 November 2020, from 30,400 tonnes on November 12. Stocks in Changzhou and Nanchang decreased by 1,240 tonnes and 3,300 tonnes to stand at 8,610 tonnes and 10,500 tonnes on Thursday, 19 November 2020.
But the inventories of aluminium billets rose slightly in Wuxi today. The stock stood at 20,100 tonnes, up 290 tonnes from last week. Huzhou stocks remained unchanged at 14,000 tonnes.
