
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, Aluminium alloy (A356) price has resumed after the Mid-Autumn Festivals holiday with a surge of RMB 1,000 per tonne to exceed RMB 26,000 per tonne on September 22. As per the data, the price is standing at a new high of RMB 26,050 per tonne, with average prices likely to range between RMB 26,000-26,100 per tonne.

On the other hand, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 23,650 per tonne and RMB 24,850 per tonne, respectively.
A00 aluminium ingot price has also recorded an increase after the 4-day holiday. According to SMM, primary aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 80 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,820 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,800 per tonne and RMB 22,840 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

In Shenyang, the price has increased the highest among other Chinese cities by RMB 160 per tonne to RMB 22,850 per tonne, followed by a hike of RMB 140 per tonne in Chongqing to RMB 22,820 per tonne. In Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price is also standing at RMB 22,820 per tonne but by gaining RMB 55 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, primary aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 110 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,830 per tonne and RMB 22,810 per tonne, respectively.
Among the input costs, Caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Henan has soared by RMB 500 per tonne to stand at RMB 3,075 per tonne, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 2,450 per tonne and RMB 3,700 per tonne. Caustic soda (32% concentration) price in Shandong has built-up by RMB285 per tonne to stand at RMB 1,125 per tonne.
