
On Thursday, January 13, the average alumina spot price has inched by RMB 4 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,849 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

The average alumina spot price in Shandong, Henan and Shanxi has hiked by RMB 5 per tonne to total at RMB 2,900 per tonne, RMB 2,865 per tonne and RMB 2,875 per tonne, for the same day respectively. On the other hand in Guizhou, the price has remained restrained to peg at RMB 2,740. In Lianyungang and Bayuquan, the price has moved up by RMB 15 per tonne to register at RMB 2,940 per tonne and RMB 2,990 per tonne. In Guangxi, the price has climbed up by RMB 20 per tonne to close at RMB 2,720 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has remained the same since December 15, 2021. However, on Thursday, January 13, the Australian alumina FOB price has stepped up by US$1 per tonne to stand at US$346 per tonne.
The A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 100 per tonne to record at RMB 21,570 per tonne. The average prices are expected to stand between RMB 21,550 per tonne and RMB 21,590 per tonne, with spot contract likely to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-20 per tonne.

In Gongyi and Foshan, the price has descended by RMB 120 per tonne to close at RMB 21,390 per tonne and RMB 21,580 per tonne. On the other in Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has moved down by RMB 95 per tonne, to close at RMB 21,560 per tonne and RMB 21,565 per tonne.
In Chongqing and Linyi, the price has also slipped by RMB 110 per tonne to total at RMB 21,570 per tonne and RMB 21,370 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the price has slumped by RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 80 per tonne, to stand at RMB 21,520 per tonne and RMB 21,540 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has remained unchanged to record at RMB 21,000 per tonne and RMB 22,000 per tonne. On the other hand, aluminium alloy (A356) price has gone down by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 23,250 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 23,200 per tonne and RMB 23,300 per tonne.
