
Alumina production in Europe (incl. Russia) stood at 838,000 tonnes in November 2021, which reflected a downfall by 34,000 tonnes or 3.90 per cent from 872,000 tonnes a month ago. In September, alumina output in Europe (incl. Russia) also amounted to 838,000 tonnes, meaning the output in October saw an increase of 4.05 per cent M-o-M.

On a year-on-year calculation, alumina production in Europe (incl. Russia) also stood lower by 2.33 per cent or 20,000 tonnes from 858,000 tonnes.
In three-month time (from September to November), alumina production in Europe (incl. Russia) totalled 2.548 million tonnes, down by 4.10 per cent from 2.657 million tonnes in the previous three months but up by 1.23 per cent from 2.517 million tonnes a year ago.
From January to November, total alumina production in Europe (incl. Russia) stood at 9.512 million tonnes, up by 2.03 per cent from 9.323 million tonnes during the same period last year.
World alumina production in November 2021 came in at 11.352 million tonnes, essentially unchanged from 11.353 million tonnes in October 2021 and marginally up by 0.17 per cent from 11.334 million tonnes in November 2020.

From January to November 2021, world alumina output amounted to 126.648 million tonnes, 4.34 per cent more than 121.384 million tonnes a year earlier.
