Alumina price in China stands at RMB2505/t; A00 ingot prices increase for second consecutive day

The average spot price of alumina registered a drop of RMB 12 per tonne to stand at RMB 2505 per tonne on Friday, 26 July 2019. The prices of alumina fell across major China markets today.

Spot alumina prices in East China, Central China, and North China markets dropped by RMB 10 per tonne each. The average prices of alumina (East China), alumina (Central China), and alumina (North China) stood at RMB 2520 per tonne, RMB 2520 per tonne, RMB 2490 per tonne respectively on July 26. Alumina price in South China market declined RMB 35 per tonne to RMB 2490 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price recorded a growth of RMB 80 per tonne on Friday. The price increased from RMB 13860 per tonne to RMB 13940 per tonne. The average price is expected to move within a range of RMB13920-13960 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot price in Foshan and Wuxi increased by RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to stand at RMB 13940 per tonne and RMB 13930 per tonne. Aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou came in at RMB 13945 per tonne, up RMB 60 per tonne.

On Wednesday, 26 July 2019, aluminium ingot price in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi stood at RMB 13940 per tonne, RMB 13895 per tonne, RMB 13910 per tonne, RMB 13960 per tonne and RMB 13810 per tonne.

Aluminium Alloy (A356) price stood at RMB 14600 per tonne, up RMB 50 per tonne from RMB 14550 per tonne. The average price is expected to move within a range of RMB14550-14650 per tonne.
