Alcoa names Ken Giacobbe as CFO of Alcoa Engineered Products and Solutions

Giacobbe, in his new role, will have financial charge of the EPS business, which had revenues of about USD5.5bn in 2012 and employs 22,000 people in 17 countries. It includes Alcoa Power and Propulsion, Alcoa Fastening Systems, Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions, Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products and Building and Construction Systems, Giacobbe will also serve on Alcoa's Executive Council.
The company said that his successor, who report to Giacobbe, will be named shortly, adding that Giacobbe will be based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania with the EPS Finance Team.
Having joined the company as VP of Finance for Global Extruded Products, part of Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions in 2004, Giacobbe thereafter was VP of Finance for Building and Construction Systems and Group Controller for EPS. Since 2011, he has served as controller of Alcoa Engineered Products and Solutions.
Earlier in his career Giacobbe held senior finance roles at Avaya and Lucent Technologies among others.
