
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has slipped by RMB 70 per tonne on Thursday, October 14, to come in at RMB 23,230 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 23,210 per tonne and RMB 23,250 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0-40 per tonne.

Except for Tianjin and Linyi, the decrease in primary aluminium price has touched upon all the major cities in China. Both in Tianjin and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 180 per tonne to stand at RMB 22,800 per tonne.
Wuxi has seen the sharpest fall of RMB 320 per tonne to stand at RMB 23,250 per tonne, followed by the plunge of RMB 305 per tonne in Hangzhou to come in at RMB 23,275 per tonne. In Foshan, A00 aluminium ingot price has shrunk by RMB 80 per tonne to peg at RMB 23,210 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing and Shenyang has decreased by RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 23,240 per tonne and RMB 23,250 per tonne, respectively.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has dwindled as well by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 27,350 per tonne on Thursday, October 14. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 27,300 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.

However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have remained restrained at RMB 24,400 per tonne and RMB 25,600 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 26.75 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 26.70 per tonne and RMB 26.80 per tonne.
