A00 aluminium ingot price recovers RMB190/t from the previous day’s loss; Aluminium alloy prices garner RMB200/t

According to the Shanghai Metals Market survey, A00 aluminium ingot price has recovered RMB 190 per tonne to close the week on Friday, July 26, at RMB 19,200 per tonne. However, despite the latest rise, the price is down week-on-week by RMB 290 per tonne and month-on-month by RMB 860 per tonne. The average prices today are estimated to range between RMB 19,180 per tonne and RMB 19,220 per tonne, with a spot contract to be traded at a discount price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

China’s domestic low-carbon aluminium price has also escalated by RMB 175 per tonne, standing at RMB 20,021 per tonne. However, on a week-on-week basis, the price has edged a fall of RMB239 per tonne from RMB 20,260 per tonne, and on a month-on-month calculation, the price stands RMB 766 per tonne lower than RMB 20,787 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price across provinces

In Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has ascended by RMB 190 per tonne to RMB 19,200 per tonne, RMB 19,200 per tonne, and RMB 19,170 per tonne, followed by the hike of RMB 180 per tonne in Foshan and Linyi to RMB 19,080 per tonne and RMB 19,240 per tonne, respectively. In Gongyi and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 170 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,060 per tonne and RMB 19,230 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing has climbed up by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,150 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy prices

Aluminium alloy (A360) price has jumped up RMB 200 per tonne to clock at the RMB 20,000 per tonne level. However, on a weekly basis, the price is down by RMB 300 per tonne from RMB 20,300 per tonne. Today, the average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has also witnessed a hike of RMB 200 per tonne to reach RMB 19,650 per tonne, with average prices to range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have gained RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,550 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne, found SMM.
