
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has climbed by RMB 30 per tonne to close the week, ending on Friday, August 13, at RMB 20,050 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 20,030 per tonne and RMB 20,070 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 50-10 per tonne.

Among all the major Chinese cities, Tianjin has seen the highest rise of RMB 60 per tonne to RMB 20,060 per tonne. In Hangzhou, primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 20,080 per tonne, while the price in Gongyi, Foshan, and Linyi has grown by RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,930 per tonne, RMB 20,200 per tonne, and RMB 20,060 per tonne, respectively. In Shenyang and Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price is up by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,055 per tonne, learned the SMM.
However, the increase has not touched upon the aluminium alloys prices. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has remained restrained at RMB 19,500 per tonne, while aluminium alloy (A356) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have continued to stand at RMB 20,650 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne, respectively.
Among primary aluminium input costs, none has recorded any changes except aluminium powder price, which has inched up by RMB 0.05 per kg to come in at RMB 23.60 per kg. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 23.55 per kg and RMB 23.65 per kg.
