A00 aluminium ingot price in China falls by RMB190/t W-o-W to RMB 18,620/t; Low carbon aluminium price slips to RMB19,213/t

On Thursday, February 23, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has remained restrained since Tuesday, February 21. The price as of today settled at RMB 18,620 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 18,640 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 120 to RMB 80 per tonne. However, on a W-o-W calculation, the price has fallen by RMB 190 per tonne from RMB 18,430 per tonne.

As of today, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Tianjin has gained RMB 40 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,640 per tonne. On the other hand, in Foshan and Hangzhou, the prices have gone down by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,620 per tonne and RMB 18,615 per tonne. In the other provinces like Gongyi, Wuxi and Chongqing, the prices have shown no change to settle at RMB 18,490 per tonne, RMB 18,605 per tonne and RMB 18,650 per tonne. As per the SMM data, in Shenyang and Linyi, the price remained the same at RMB 18,620 per tonne, respectively.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has slipped by RMB 10 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,213 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) have remained restrained at RMB 26,400 per tonne and RMB 27,400 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A356) price showed no change to halt at RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) is expected to stand between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A356), the average price may range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A380) price has stopped at RMB 20,900 per tonne, reflecting no change, with the average prices orbiting between RMB 20,800 per tonne and RMB 21,000 per tonne.
