A00 aluminium ingot price crashes further by RMB660/t to RMB22060/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price falls by RMB600/t

On Wednesday, March 9, A00 aluminium ingot price has depreciated further by RMB 660 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,060 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices for the same are expected to range between RMB 22,040 per tonne and RMB 22,080 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-20 per tonne.

 In provinces like Foshan, Hangzhou and Chongqing, the price has plummeted by RMB 670 per tonne to close at RMB 22,020 per tonne, RMB 22,050 per tonne and RMB 21,960 per tonne. For the same day in Gongyi and Wuxi, the price has fallen by RMB 590 per tonne and RMB 660 per tonne to total at RMB 22,050 per tonne, respectively. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Shenyang and Tianjin has contracted by RMB 610 per tonne and RMB 630 per tonne to register at RMB 22,100 per tonne and RMB 22,090 per tonne. In Linyi, the price has shrunk by RMB 670 per tonne to come in at RMB 22,150 per tonne.

Amongst the primary aluminium sector, the aluminium alloy (ADC12) price has also plunged by RMB 200 per tonne to close at RMB 22,600 per tonne. The average prices are expected to hover between RMB 22,500 per tonne and RMB 22,700 per tonne.

For the same day, aluminium alloy (A356) price and (A380) price has nosedived by RMB 600 per tonne and RMB 200 per tonne to register at RMB 23,600 per tonne. The average prices for the same are expected to orbit between RMB 23,500 per tonne and RMB 23,700 per tonne, respectively.

According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price has remained restrained since Monday, March 7, to peg at RMB 2,978 per tonne. In Shandong and Henan also the price has stood unchanged to register at RMB 2,975 per tonne and RMB 3,000 per tonne. However, in provinces like Shanxi, Guizhou and Guangxi, the price has remained unaltered to total at RMB 2,960 per tonne, RMB 2,975 per tonne and RMB 2,955 per tonne. In Lianyungang and Bayuquan also the price has shown no change to record at RMB 3,125 per tonne and RMB 3,250 per tonne.
