CIE Automotive brings aluminium casting subsidiary into parent after NCLT approval
The merger will absorb CIE Aluminium Casting India into its parent, with no new shares to be issued and provisional net worth rising by INR 942.2 million (USD 9.82 million). CIE Automotive India has received approval from the Mumbai Bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to merge its wholly owned subsidiary, CIE Aluminium Casting India, into the parent company. The tribunal approved the scheme on September 24, 2026, paving the way for consolidation of the aluminium casting business. The merger by absorption has an appointed date of April 1, 2026. As CIE Aluminium Casting India is wholly owned by CIE Automotive India, the parent will not issue new shares. Bühler celebrates 20 years of die-casting collaboration with Hyundai
Swiss technology group Bühler is marking 20 years of collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group. The partnership began with the installation of the first machine, an Evolution 270D, at Hyundai’s Ulsan complex in South Korea two decades ago. Volta Aluminium Company Limited (VALCO) plans to move further into Ghana’s aluminium value chain with a new continuous casting and rolling mill that will produce aluminium rods for electrical cable manufacturers. The company has already supplied test samples to Nexans Kablemetal and Reroy Cables, with both manufacturers giving positive feedback. Jaya Hind Industries Pvt. Ltd.
