Hind Aluminium’s standalone net profit falls 55.23% in Q1 2017

Hind Aluminium Industries, manufacturer of aluminium alloy and electrical grade wire rods, reported a 55.23 per cent decline in its standalone net profit to INR 0.77 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as compared to INR 1.72 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

The company’s sales fell 32.56 per cent to INR 138.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as compared to INR 205.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year, the company’s net profit declined 28.30 per cent to INR 6.46 crore in the year ended March 2017 as compared to INR 9.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.

Hind Aluminium Industries sales declined 30.84 per cent to INR 496.86 crore in the year ended March 2017 as compared to INR 718.38 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
