China’s A00 aluminium ingot price hikes by RMB70/t; Low carbon aluminium price expands to RMB 20,047/t

On Tuesday, September 12, China's A00 aluminium ingot price added RMB 70 per tonne to close at RMB 19,520 per tonne. The average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,540 per tonne, with the spot contract prices expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 80 to RMB 40 per tonne.

As per the Shanghai Metal Market (SMM) data, the prices in Foshan and Chongqing have hiked by RMB 70 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,290 per tonne and RMB 19,420 per tonne. On the same day, in Shenyang and Wuxi, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have grown by RMB 60 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,450 per tonne and RMB 19,490 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot prices in Hangzhou and Linyi have ascended by RMB 20 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,440 per tonne and RMB 19,470 per tonne. Gongyi's price has increased by RMB 10 per tonne to close at RMB 19,350 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price descended by RMB 10 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,470 per tonne.

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has surged by RMB 76 per tonne, settling at RMB 20,047 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 27,000 per tonne and RMB 28,000 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per tonne to reside at RMB 21.4 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.3 per tonne and RMB 21.5 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,150 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 20,000 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. On the same day, the price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have ascended by RMB 50 per tonne to reach RMB 19,600 per tonne and RMB (A380) per tonne. For (ADC12) the average prices are expected to orbit between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne. For (A380) the average prices may range between RMB 20,500 per tonne and RMB 20,700 per tonne.
