
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States imported 7,370 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars from Oman, showing a month-on-month hike of 990 per tonne or 15.51%. In September 2021, 6,380 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets and bars were imported from Oman, showing a drop down of 2,670 tonnes from 9,050 tonnes in August 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets and bars imported from Oman in October 2021 slumped by 90 tonnes or by 1.20% from 7,460 tonnes in October 2020.
From January to October, the imported aluminium plates, sheets and bars from Oman settled at 74,000. For the same period last year, the amount clocked at 53,600 tonnes.
As per the data shared by the USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, imported from Oman for October 2021 closed at 7,370 tonnes, showing a year-on-year drop down of 90 tonnes. The total amount for October 2020 registered at 7,460 tonnes.
