
The United Arab Emirates exports of crude metals and alloys to the US stood at 30,900 tonnes in April 2021, a decrease of 20% or 7,500 tonnes year-on-year, from 38,400 tonnes exported April 2020, according to the latest Mineral Industry Survey report from the US Geological Survey. On a month on month comparison, exports dropped 0.96% from 31,200 tonnes.

In the first four months of 2021, the UAE’s export of crude metals and alloys stood 24.3% lower year-on-year. The UAE exported 109,000 tonnes in January-April 2021, from 144,000 tonnes in January-April 2020.
The UAE exported 31,200 tonnes of total aluminium to the USA in April 2021, from 38,400 tonnes exported in April 2020. This marked a decrease of 18.75% year-on-year. Semi-finished products export stood at 311 tonnes and 741 tonnes in April and January-April.
