The bauxite import of Portugal has been showing positive during 2018-20.
The total bauxite import during 2018-19 was recorded at 8943 tonnes and the foreign exchange paid was $5.42 million.
The projected bauxite import of Portugal remains strong in 2020 with a total volume of 5317 tonnes, while the forecasted revenue to be paid will be $3.70 million.
Portugal’s total bauxite import during 2018-2020 is reflected at 14,260 tonnes and the revenue paid remained at $9.12 million.
In 2018 the import accounted for 4268 tonnes, whereas the amount paid was $2.41 million.
The bauxite import rose by 9.53% in 2019, as the total volume stood at 4675 tonnes. The revenue paid for bauxite imports was $3.01 million.
In 2020 the bauxite import shows rise by 13.73% on Y-o-Y.
