SMM A00 aluminium ingot price heightens 4.85% M-o-M to RMB19450/t; Low carbon aluminium price gains RMB30/t
The Shanghai Metals Market on September 11 experienced marginally elevating prices all over China, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price gaining RMB 30 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,450 per tonne. The average prices have ranged between RMB 19,430 per tonne and RMB 19,470 per tonne.
If we consider the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price on August 11, 2023, it can be seen there has been a Month-on-Month surge of RMB 900 per tonne or 4.85 per cent; since the aluminium price was RMB 18,550 per tonne that day.
China’s eight major provinces have witnessed heightening prices today, with the aluminium ingot price escalating the highest in Tianjin by RMB 110 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,480 per tonne. In Wuxi, the aluminium price soared by RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 19,440 per tonne, while the aluminium price in Shenyang and Linyi spiked by RMB 30 per tonne to accumulate RMB 19,390 per tonne and RMB 19,450 per tonne, respectively.
Other than that, all the other regions like Gongyi, Foshan, Hangzhou and Chongqing have all seen RMB 20 per tonne rise in aluminium prices. In Gongyi, the price settled at RMB 19,340 per tonne; in Foshan, it was RMB 19,220 per tonne; in Hangzhou, it was RMB 19,440 per tonne; and lastly, in Chongqing, it has clocked at RMB 19,350 per tonne.
The high-purity aluminium price (99.99%) and the high-purity aluminium price (99.996%) have practically remained stoic today with no notable change.
The price of aluminium alloy (A360) has seen an influx of RMB 50 per tonne to officially close at RMB 20,350 per tonne.
The price of low-carbon aluminium has added RMB 30 per tonne to park at RMB 19,971 per tonne.
