Recycling increased at Texas A&M football games in 2013
Texas A&M and Brazos Valley Recycling were able to divert 45 tons of trash gathered during the home football games at Kyle Field in 2013 away from landfills. On average, trash at each game was recycled at a rate of 41 percent, a 17 percent increase from the previous season.

Brazos Valley Recycling signed on in 2012 to head recycling efforts at home football games. The partnership has seen recycling rise to 43 percent of all trash in only two years. Before the agreement, recycling at Kyle Field was close to zero.
