Razer has launched the Huntsman Signature Edition, a flagship keyboard positioned above its mainstream Huntsman gaming lineup. The model production is limited to 1,337 serialised units, highlighting its limited-edition, collector-focused objective. With the chassis being CNC-milled from 6063 aluminium and anodised, alongside selected exterior components undergoing PVD surface treatment followed by hand polishing, the product sets its focal point of distinction in the build.

Razer has referred to it as a multi-stage manufacturing and finishing process using unit-level inspection, designed to ensure consistent edge definition, uniform surface quality and enhanced structural rigidity compared to mass-produced keyboards.
Analog Optical and enhanced acoustics set the tone
At its core, the keyboard incorporates Razer Analogue Optical Switches Gen-2. Diversifying from standard optical switches that function as digital inputs, this design reads press depth, allowing adjustable actuation and more granular input control.

The keyboard comes with onboard storage for up to six profiles. Enabling quick adjustments without reliance on software, it integrates a multi-function dial. It reinforces Rapid Trigger functionality, where reset points are not fixed, enabling faster and optimised repeated inputs in competitive gaming. The device features True 8,000 Hz HyperPolling to increase input update frequency between the keyboard and PC, alongside Snap Tap support to enhance responsiveness.
Beyond gaming performance, Razer has turned to typing acoustics and consistency. The internal stack contains FR4 and foam layers for dampening resonance and producing more controlled sounds across the board.
Accessories and price factors
The Signature Edition is shipped using dedicated packaging, which consists of a vegan leather sound-dampening mat, cleaning cloth, keycap puller, swappable keycaps and a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable. Keycaps are textured double-shot PBT, a material typically associated with improved durability over ABS alternatives.
Based on the listed Japanese pricing at USD 480.64, the Huntsman Signature Edition has positioned itself as a limited-production, premium offering that combines collector appeal with Razer’s competitive feature set.
