
The major industries of the Philippines include manufacturing and agribusiness. Philippines import of aluminium tubes and pipes during 2017-19 has been remaining inconstant as the important volume displayed growth and de-growth. The import volume during the above period remained at 4610 tonnes and foreign revenue expended stood at $21.09 million. The projection for 2020 import volume of aluminium tubes and pipes has been analysed at 1670 tonnes and expenditure to rise at $10.39 million. However, when the projected import volume and expenditure of 2020 gets summed up with the previous three years, it reveals 6280 tonnes and $31.48 million respectively.

In 2017, the countries aluminium tubes and pipes import has been recorded at only 947 tonnes and the expenditure stood at $4.04 million, whereas in 2018 the import surged to 1867 tonnes, growth by 97.14% and the expenditure also rose to $8.26 million.
The island nation’s import of aluminium tubes and pipes in 2019 saw de-growth by 3.80%, as the import volume dipped to 1796 tonnes, but the revenue expenditure remained up at $8.79 million.
The projection for 2020 import has also been analysed with a down-turn by 7.01%, as the import volume to fall at 1670 tonnes, however, the expenditure reflects inclined to $10.39 million.
