Aleris said Mr. Meyer has 30 years of experience in the aluminum industry, most recently as technical director for Montupet, one of the world's largest producers of aluminum-cast automotive products. He previously held management positions in research and technology with Pechiney, a Constellium predecessor company, where he helped develop an aluminum lithium alloy for aerospace use and precision aluminum-forging technology for automotive products, according to Aleris.
