Nespresso’s new Pixie coffee machine, the smallest of the company’s capsule brewers, is constructed from aluminium recovered from recycled coffee capsules. Nespresso has extensive recycling efforts in Europe for their capsules. In June 2011, Nespresso launched a new capsule recycling service where club members can order a recycling bag in which to store used capsules and, once the bag is full, arrange for it to be collected when placing a new order.
