Mexican aluminium smelter project nearing decision on US operation

A Mexican secondary aluminium alloy producer may be setting up shop in Indiana to expand on an existing business relationship with Shelbyville, Ind.-based Ryobi Die Casting USA Inc.
A senior executive at Ryobi confirmed that it had been in "strong negotiations" with Faeza SA de CV but no agreement had been reached.
Faeza recently sent top executives to Indiana to determine whether it could start operations near Ryobi’s Shelbyville plant.
