LME aluminium price moves down by 0.48% to US$2,902/t; SHFE price increases by US$14

Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$2,943 per tonne last Friday and closed at US$2,959 per tonne, up 0.59 percent.

Both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME official settlement price reduced by US$14 or by 0.48 percent to settle at US$2,901.50 per tonne and US$2,902 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price closed at US$2,921.50 per tonne and US$2,922.50 per tonne. December 22 bid price settled at US$2,813 per tonne and the offer price stood at US$2,818 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock for October 8 settled at 1170800. Live warrants for the same day closed at 638425 and cancelled warrant stood at 532375.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Friday, October 7 was recorded at 2930.89.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium for SHFE surged up by US$14 per tonne to settle at US$3, 576 per tonne on Monday, October 11.
The most-traded SHFE 2111 aluminium contract opened at RMB 22,800 per tonne during last Friday’s night session and moved between RMB 22,750-23,220 per tonne before closing at RMB 23,080 per tonne, up RMB 325 per tonne, or 1.43 percent.
