LME aluminium price increases by 1.25% to US$2,916/t; SHFE market resumes at US$3,562/t after a week long holiday

Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$2,900 per tonne yesterday and closed at US$2,942 per tonne, up US$45 per tonne or 1.55 percent.

LME aluminium cash (bid) price increased by US$36.5 or by 1.26 percent to score at US$2,915.50 per tonne. LME aluminium official settlement price surged by US$36 or by 1.25 percent to settle at US$2,916 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price was recorded at US$2,928 per tonne and US$2,929 per tonne. December 22 bid price scored at US$2,815 per tonne and the offer price was recorded at US$2,820 per tonne.

LME aluminium opening stock for October 7 closed at 1188575 tonnes. Live warrants for the same day were recorded at 638425 and cancelled warrant stood at 550150.

LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price for Thursday, October 7 settled at 2904.66.

SHFE Aluminium Price Trend

After a week-long National Day Holiday, SHFE market resumed at US$3,562 per tonne.
