LME aluminium price increases by 0.38% to US$2,899/t; SHFE price moves up by US$47
Three-month LME aluminium rose 1.0 percent to end at $2,932 per tonne on overnight.
On Tuesday September 28, both LME aluminium cash (bid) price and LME aluminium official settlement price surged by US$11 or by 0.38 percent to close at US$2,898.50 per tonne and US$2,899 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price stood at US$2,915 per tonne and US$2,916 per tonne. December 22 bid price was recorded at US$2,798 per tonne and the offer price for the same day settled at US$2,803 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock for September 28 closed at 1256450 tonnes. Live warrants closed at 679950 and cancelled warrants stood at 576500.
For Tuesday, September 28, the LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price was found to be 2893.10.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium SHFE for Wednesday, September 29 increased by US$47 per tonne to close at US$3,542 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2111 aluminium closed down 1.22 percent or to RMB 22680 per tonne, with open interest down 4088 lots to 277,000 lots.
The SHFE aluminium contract increased 1.05 percent to end at RMB 23,025 per tonne last night.
