Jaguar Land Rover launched world's first aluminium SUV

The luxurious fourth-generation RangeRover vehicle will be manufactured in a new state-of-the-art plant at Solihull- the largest factory of its kind in the world.
The all-aluminium body structure is more refined, lighter and stronger than the previous models and it has improved fuel economy and C02 emissions. It will have a total weight saving of 420kg, which is 20% lighter than the steel body model.
Jaguar Land Rover is the largest employer in the UK's automotive sector, employing almost 24,000 people.
The new Solihull plant will also bring more jobs to the Midlands, with the automotive manufacturer investing £2 billion in products, technologies, facilities and employees in 2013.
