Italian spring water brand launches still and sparkling mineral waters in Crown aluminium cans

Italian spring water brand Acqua S. Bernardo (colloquially known as San Bernardo) has launched its premium still and sparkling mineral waters in aluminium cans from Crown. This is the first time that the company is using metal packaging. Beverage cans were selected for their portability, sustainability and range of printing and decoration options.

The cans feature a creative design that reflected its quality and heritage. The final graphics were inspired by the artwork on La Giocca, the brand’s bottle created in 1994 by the legendary automobile designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

The 33cl cans employ a special tactile finish to great effect. The cans, Printed in Crown’s Parma Italy plant, feature this special finish performed well on the production line being as easy to print as the regular cans, Crown said.
