Estrella Damm is marking its 150th anniversary in 2026 with a year-long programme of celebrations, including a large music festival held in Barcelona in May, limited edition can packaging and the launch of a refreshed visual identity for consumers worldwide. As part of the anniversary campaign, the beer brand partnered with Crown to introduce a limited-edition packaging range featuring seven different 440ml aluminium can designs. The campaign was developed in the UK, where Estrella Damm operates its first brewery outside the Iberian Peninsula through the Damm Eagle Brewery in Bedford, England. Crown Holdings posts a rise in net sales as global shipments increase 5% in Q1 2026
Crown Holdings, Inc. reported a solid start to 2026, supported by higher beverage can shipments and improved adjusted earnings, despite a slight decline in net income. Net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, rose to USD 3.26 billion, compared to USD 2.89 billion in the same period last year. The increase was driven by a 5 per cent rise in global beverage can shipments, along with the pass-through of higher input costs and favourable foreign exchange movements. Crown Holdings, Inc., an American multinational packaging company, has named Dr John M. Rost as its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific and Transit Packaging.
