IBAAS and GAMI to jointly organize 8th International IBAAS-GAMI Conference & Exhibition in China in September

IBAAS and GAMI are jointly organizing the 8th International IBAAS-GAMI Conference & Exhibition from September 4 to 6, 2019 at the picturesque city of Guiyang, China.

The theme of this year’s IBAAS-GAMI Conference is “Technological Advances in Alumina, Aluminium Smelter, Downstream Operations, Energy Conservation, Environmental Control and Intelligent Manufacturing with Special Reference to China”.

The organizers have formulated a world class program focusing on key topics and issues in the bauxite, alumina, aluminium and aluminium downstream industry and secondary sectors with special reference to China.

International Bauxite, Alumina & Aluminium Society (IBAAS) is an India based organization formed by professionals from different fields of aluminium industry. Guiyang Aluminium Magnesium Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd(GAMI)/ Chalieco Guiyang Branch is a "Class-A" qualified organization in national non-ferrous metallurgy, architectural design and EPC project contracting working with top companies in Asia Pacific.  

IBAAS has successfully organized seven International events of Aluminium Industry in Asia and Africa during the period of 2012-2018.

Apart from general topics on Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium, the Conference is planned to have special sessions to be coordinated by leading industry experts during IBAASGAMI 2019 Conference:

1. Present Status of Alumina Technology and Aluminium Smelting in the World with special reference to China and impact to the world.
2. Technological Advances in Productivity and Energy saving in Alumina, Aluminium Production in China.
3. Valorization of Bauxite Residue and other Waste Products of Aluminium Industry.

5. Aluminium Alloys – Latest Products & Developments.
