Haomei Aluminium Develops New Aluminium Profile to Promote Auto Lightweight

Haomei Aluminium announces recently that it has successfully developed a new type of aluminium profile and has used it to forge entire car frame.
Seen from the current R&D result, this new aluminium car frame can reduce 15% of the car weight. As the weight is reduced, the car’s brake performance increases by 5% which can absorb more crash energy compared with steel. The new aluminium car frame can also reduce the car’s carbon emission by 20% and increase mileage per liter by 10%.
