Guangdong Fenglu Aluminium's project advances toward high-quality development

In Guangdong's Xinxing County, the construction of the aluminium products and metal processing project by Guangdong Fenglu Aluminium Co., Ltd. has made significant progress, according to recent reports. The project commenced at the end of 2022 and has been advancing smoothly since then. All seven bidding sections of the first phase have reached their construction milestones, and the second phase is scheduled to begin construction in October. The first phase is slated for operational launch in August 2024, with full completion and operation expected by December 2025. These developments are expected to substantially boost the city's industrial economy.

A reporter visited the construction site of the Guangdong Xinxing Fenglu Aluminium project and observed numerous completed high-rise structures, towering cranes, construction machinery, and a bustling workforce engaged in activities such as steel beam installation and external wall tiling. The project, overseen by the on-site project manager, is situated in the East Park of Xincheng Industrial Park in Xinxing County. It is divided into two phases, totalling 11 blocks. As of now, seven blocks in the first phase, including three extrusion workshops, two spraying workshops, and two packaging workshops, have been capped, and they are soon to enter the roof steel structure installation phase, with plans for completion by year-end. Four sections of the second phase, encompassing municipal infrastructure, office buildings, dormitories, and three-dimensional finished goods warehouses, are scheduled to commence construction in early October.

The project management emphasized their commitment to meeting the tight construction schedule while ensuring safety and quality standards. They have pooled resources, including capital, labour, and materials, to expedite construction in response to this year's high-quality development conferences at the provincial, municipal, and county levels.

The project is initiated and managed by Guangdong Fenglu Aluminum Co., Ltd., with a projected investment of 5 billion RMB and an expansive area spanning 1,100 mu. It primarily aims to establish a comprehensive industrial base covering the entire aluminium profile manufacturing chain, encompassing R&D, processing, sales, warehousing, logistics, and living facilities. The product range includes environmentally friendly building materials, high-end system doors and windows, and high-end industrial materials for aerospace, rail transit, new energy vehicles, electronic appliances, and 5G communications.

This ambitious project is positioned as a fully automated, information-driven, integrated production base with upgraded R&D, equipment, and production capabilities. Once completed, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of approximately 600,000 tonnes, generating an output value exceeding 10 billion RMB, contributing around 350 million RMB in tax revenue, and providing 3,000 employment opportunities. It is envisioned that this project will serve as a new industry benchmark, propelling advancements in China's aluminium profile industry, achieving the vision of "creating a new phoenix aluminium," and fostering high-quality, coordinated development across the metal intelligence sector's upstream and downstream segments.
