Welsh fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium has begun a prestigious project to construct a state-of-the-art joint education campus in Fairwater. Collaborating with ISG Construction Ltd., Dudley’s will bring to life three newly build schools—Cantonian High School, Riverbank School, and Woodlands High School—on a singular site, embracing sustainability and innovative aluminium fabrications.
{alcircleadd}The Fairwater campus, a multimillion-pound endeavour, is poised to set a benchmark for future educational projects in Cardiff. This development aligns with the Welsh Government’s Net Zero Carbon standards, ensuring each of the three schools will be energy-efficient and powered by renewable energy sources. Dudley’s Aluminium will install Metal Technology System doors, windows, and capped curtain walling, reflecting the company’s expertise in high-quality aluminium fabrications.
Neil Jones, Contracts Director at Dudley’s Aluminium, expressed enthusiasm for the project: “We are delighted to be taking on such an important project that will have such a positive impact on the local community and to be working with ISG once again. The development of these schools will provide incredible benefits for their pupils, creating a positive environment for children to learn, develop, and achieve their potential, and it is an honour to be involved.”
Dudley’s Aluminium brings a legacy of excellence to this project, having offered comprehensive in-house design and production facilities since 1993. The company's extensive portfolio spans the education, health, commercial, retail, residential, and defence sectors across the UK and Channel Islands. Their dedication to quality is affirmed by numerous industry accreditations, including CHAS, Constructionline, and BM Trada certifications for enhanced security products compliant with PAS24:2016 and BS 4873 standards.
