BUILDING products and aluminium company CSR today reported that profit for continuing operations in the first half of the financial year jumped 13 per cent to $34.9 million, a result helped by the sale of its Sucrogen unit.

Net profit before one-time items jumped 14 per cent on an annual comparison to $50.6m, a result that managing director Rob Sindel said was slightly ahead of guidance.
