
According to Shanghai Metals Market, the average alumina spot price in China has lowered its decline to RMB 6 per tonne today, on April 14, to stand at RMB 2,073 per tonne. In many parts of China, the price has remained restrained, such as in the east and north at RMB 2,100 per tonne and RMB 2,050 per tonne, respectively. In the central, however, the price has recorded a plunge of RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 2,090 per tonne.

The imported alumina price in China has declined the highest today by RMB 45 per tonne to RMB 2,075 per tonne. The average prices of imported alumina are expected to range between RMB 2,050 per tonne and RMB 2,100 per tonne. The Australian Alumina FOB price has remained unchanged at US$ 225 per tonne, as of April 14, learned SMM.
The A00 aluminium ingot price has extended growth for the fourth consecutive day, but slower than the previous days. It has grown by RMB 20 per tonne to RMB 11,810 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 11,790 per tonne and RMB 11,830 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a discount and premium price of RMB 30-10 per tonne.

Except Wuxi, all the major Chinese cities have witnessed a rise in A00 aluminium ingot price today, on April 14. Tianjin and Linyi have seen a hike of RMB 30 per tonne, followed by Gongyi, Shenyang, and Foshan, where the price has increased by RMB 20 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Chongqing, the ingot price has grown by RMB 10 per tonne.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have decreased by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 13,750 per tonne and RMB 14,650 per tonne, respectively, while the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has remained restrained at RMB 12,500 per tonne.
